Before I knew it I had smashed my top score and had already knocked up a time of over 2.5 minutes - funny thing is that I wasn’t really concentrating - just kind-off playing it on auto-pilot.

No matter how hard I try, I just cant get past 90,000 in this frigging game.

I know its possible because others have, but I just cant do it.

Give it a go yourself and see if you can. A word of warning though, set a limit to the number of attempts your going to have before you start otherwise you might end up looking like me.

Even though this isnt a new game for us at doof, the more I play it the more I enjoy it.

Its the quintessential casual game, easy to learn, simply to play, highly addictive and most importantly loads and loads of fun.

Highest Score on doof so far is just over 80,000. My highest score is about 27,000.

Surprising at it may seem, people in Germany think we named doof without knowing what it meant in German.

Inevitably whenever a review about doof is posted online, some German joker comes along and posts a comment, or a full review on their own website (thanks for the links), along the lines of ” ha ha, don’t they know that doof means stupid in German”.

Their comments always remind me of old-school Beavis & Butt-Head where they snigger to each other thinking how clever they are whilst not realising that the joke is on them and they are the biggest dumb-asses in the room.

“Hey Beavis, let’s pretend we’re dead.”

“Yeah, heh heh, heh heh, that would be cool.”

What a dumbass

Our decision to name doof was made in the full knowledge of what the word meant in German. Our rationale, who cares what the Germans think!

Having said that, along comes a review on major German site Ehrensenf, with the title doof ist nicht doof =  doof is not stupid!

About time they got with the program!
